AngelCare, Inc. Home Health Care, founded on September 6, 2000,  was the brain child of our owner, Joyce Sikora Lovse.

The vision was to create a company that would not only fuel personal passion for elder home care but would foster a community of caring between the clients, family members, care providers, nurses, administrative team members and health professionals.

Since this time, the AngelCare Team has grown from three founding members to a staff of 120.

Our staff knows that getting help for caring for the elderly at home is a difficult decision. We want you to feel confident when choosing AngelCare to meet your loved one's home health care needs. Our extensive experience and commitment to providing quality service at an affordable price sets us apart from other home care agencies. Founder and Owner Joyce Sikora Lovse has been recognized as a finalist of the Grand Rapids Business Journal top Women Owned Businesses Award in 2005, 2007, and 2009.  This prestigious award provides recognition to West Michigan’s women-owned businesses that add strength and diversity to the local economy.

Our founder also started the Consortium on Quality Care of West Michigan, in 2001. The CQC was an organization that advocated for seniors in providing ethical and quality care and honored care givers with an annual awards banquet and training events. In 2006 the CQC was disbanded but not without donating almost $700.00 to the Kent County Senior Millage campaign that happily passed in August ’06 by a 77% margin.
